The Piece

Handcrafted from real elements, antler sheds, dried prairie grasses, pheasant feathers, hand-cut wood slices, natural rope, and more, all framed in a solid wood shadow box. At the center, your family name, ranch, or message is engraved on a custom acrylic sign. Decades from now, this is the piece your grandchildren will argue over.

It belongs above the fireplace. At the end of the hallway. In the room where the family gathers.
How It Works

Each piece is priced by size, and some elements cost a little more. Choose your options above. Don't see the size you need? Email us, and we'll work something out.

Once you order, we'll proof your engraving design by email before anything gets cut. You'll review and approve every detail before we build; nothing moves forward until it's exactly right.
Make It Yours

Feather and grass preferences, turquoise inlay, multiple antler sheds, and other specialty requests are always welcome. Some carry a small added cost, which we'll discuss before we proceed.
Timeline

Please allow 12–15 weeks for completion. Every piece is handmade to order in our studio. This isn't something you rush; it's something you hang on the wall and never take down.

Floral Preservation

Send us your
florals

Your bouquet, preserved in a custom live sign. Dry your florals using the method at right, then send them our way and we'll incorporate them into a piece made to last.

Information regarding sending your bouquet or own personal elements

Drying your florals · 2–3 days
  1. Get silica gel crystals (sold at craft stores or on Amazon).
  2. Pour a layer of crystals into an airtight container.
  3. Gently place flowers face-up on top, then cover completely with more silica.
  4. Seal the container and leave it for 2–3 days.
  5. Carefully brush off crystals when done.

Please note: Drying methods vary by flower type. We recommend consulting your florist for the proper technique for your specific florals. Brass Bunkhouse is not responsible for floral damage or poor drying outcomes.

Place your order first, then ship your dried florals to:

Include your order number. Wrap florals in tissue or newspaper inside a box with filler around them — the less movement, the better. Email a tracking number to bbunkhouse@outlook.com to follow your shipment.

FAQs

Return policy

You can return most items within 30 days of receipt, provided they're unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. Custom-made pieces are excluded and only qualify for a refund if they arrive damaged from shipping, in which case a photo of the damage must be sent in right away. Customers cover return shipping and handling, and we strongly recommend insuring your return since lost or damaged packages can't be reimbursed; once we receive your return, we'll issue your refund. Please note that order cancellations are refunded as store credit only.

Shipping

Every custom piece is built to order and takes anywhere from 3 to 15 weeks depending on the item, with the exact turnaround time listed on each product page. All orders are shipped insured. If your item arrives damaged, you can file a claim directly with the carrier to receive reimbursement yourself, or if you'd prefer to have the piece repaired, keep all packaging and product and reach out to us for next steps. Please note that everything must be retained in order to move forward with a repair.

Orders of $250+ ship free within the continental US. We ship throughout the US and Canada, with Canadian shipping estimated at checkout and additional handling possibly charged once final details are confirmed. We also ship internationally; international customers should reach out with their order so we can quote shipping up front and invoice once the order is confirmed.

Product Care

Most of what we make is natural materials like wood, hide, wool, metal, and dried botanicals. Natural means each piece has character, and it also means it doesn't love standing water, harsh chemicals, or hard knocks. A few simple habits keep nearly everything looking its best.
